Are you eligible for Dubai's Education System
In general, Dubai offers two intake periods each year, typically occurring in January/February or September/October. There has been a rise in the establishment of branch campuses of international universities in Dubai, particularly focusing on postgraduate programs. While some universities may require applicants to provide an English proficiency score for admission, it’s worth noting that not all institutions enforce this prerequisite. Eligibility criteria for undergraduate programs in Dubai can vary depending on the university but typically entail completing at least 12 years of schooling with a grade point average of 50 percent or higher. While English proficiency scores may be requested by some universities, it’s not a mandatory requirement for all institutions. Indian universities may waive the need for IELTS, and for UK universities, IELTS scores might be based on English marks in the 10th and 12th grades. Students who achieve scores exceeding 50% (India) and 60% (UK) in ISC/CBSE or Cambridge English exams may also be exempt from English proficiency tests.
